The Tall Ships Races 2024

The tall ships are coming to the Baltic Sea!

The Tall Ships Races (TSR) is an annual sailing event during which ships from different countries sail from one host port to another. Some of the sailing legs are races, during which the ships travel under sail only. On the other hand, there are cruise-in-company legs, during which you can get to see more of the local coastline, towns and villages, for example.

The TSR aims to promote international friendship and provide opportunities for young people to participate in sail training activities. This is why most of the trainees are between 15 and 25 years old.

Ahoy, Snuput!

Get ready for the last race of the TSR from Åland to Poland 26.7.-4.8.2024. The vessel is Kuunari Helena, heading for Szczecin, Poland, with the aim of course to leave as many other vessels behind as possible.

Primarily aimed at 15-25 year olds, this adventure offers the opportunity to learn essential sailing skills from steering and navigation to hoisting and trimming sails. Over 25s are also welcome to join in.

On the schooner Helena you can spend several days on the open sea enjoying the sea weather, sailing and the company of other Snupus. At the ports, you can experience the atmosphere of a TSR event and take part in a varied harbour programme.
